Today we harvested the bounty of the land.

Our very own watermelon.

A treasure, to be sure.

"It's not quite ripe. It's not quite sweet. It's not bad," Tobin said cheerily, as he gobbled up our harvest.
Walking together toward sustainable, uncluttered, thoughtful lives.

Heh. That's pretty funny.
oooh! yum!
Wow, impressive! Maybe you should try growing something more native to the area.
That is too funny!
i love tobin's enthusiasm in these shots :)
I am quite certain that is better than anything that would come out of our garden- if we had one.
I do think the suggestion to try something a bit more native to the PNW might help? Our next neighbor is always showering us with very healthy looking zucchini!
Is that a tiny watermelon or a GIANT MAN?
Oh, KC, Tobin will love that comment...
if you could buy a watermelon that size, it is exactly the one the little dude would pick...he'd say something like ,"oooohhh...she's soooo cuuuute"
Do you know the "Watermelon" song by Billy Jonas? Go get the "What kind of cat are you?" cd...your kiddos will love it. An appropriate song, I'll say!
